Description

title1 Logo by Kozurat

This mod consists of a configurable system that allows you to automatically be put into spectator status when you die. It is recommended for Hardcore series or events in which if you die you cannot respawn.

You can customize whether items drop or whether the death message appears, all with the /deathspectator command (more on that below).

The mod is only needed on the server side, but can be used on the client side for singleplayer.

You can identify a similar death system in different Eufonia Studio events or series, such as DEDSafio Minecraft and Squid Craft Games 2.

Example taken from a live streamer elded in DEDSafio Minecraft 2 (obviously without the on-screen animation, sound or automatic ban):

Commands:

  • /deathspectator setconfig <propierty> <value> | Set true or false to configuration file properties.

IMPORTANT NOTE: What is established in the configuration file in the client will work for all worlds in singleplayer.

Saving the file and using the command updates properties instantly in the game. If you want to see when the configuration is loaded and reloaded in the client or server console you should set consoleLogs to true.

title3 It is not known if the mod can be compatible with another mod that is related to the player's death. Just in case avoid matching them.
