This is a mod that ports the Minecraft 1.21.4 Decorated Pot to Minecraft 1.20.1 as fully as possible, bringing some of the new Decorated Pot features back to Minecraft 1.20.1.
Since this mod uses vanilla namespaces and data formats, it is compatible with Decorated Pots in higher-version schematics loaded by Litematica Mod, and upgraded world saves can also be recognized and preserved in higher versions.

Description

This project is modified by referencing the 1.21.4 source code and adapting it to the lower version, using a large number of mixins to bring higher-version features to the Decorated Pot.

Ported parts:

• Added item storage functionality
• Added block animation
• Added particle effects
• Added interaction audio
• Added audio text (subtitles)
• Changed stack size to 64
• Fixed the issue where an undecorated pot becomes non-stackable due to extra NBT after use
• Fixed the issue where a decorated pot loses some NBT after use, causing non-stackability
• Added the Decorated Pot to the "Redstone Blocks" tab in the creative mode inventory
• The pick block key can now be used to select a Decorated Pot and obtain the correct pattern
• If the cracked block state is set to true, the Decorated Pot will shatter regardless of the breaking method

Parts not ported:

• Decorated Pots being destroyed by projectiles (this behavior is a side effect, and in higher versions it is bound to a new game rule; not ported)
• Decorated Pots using loot tables and reading from their LootTable NBT tag (pots do not naturally generate in the current version's world, so loot tables are meaningless; not ported)
• Undecorated pots generating in Trial Chambers (the Trial Chambers structure does not exist; not ported)
• Changed shatter sound effect for Decorated Pots (does not affect functionality; not ported)
• Changed break sound effect for Decorated Pots (does not affect functionality; not ported)
• Changed step sound effect for Decorated Pots (does not affect functionality; not ported)

Requirements

Game Version: Minecraft 1.20.1
Loader Version: Fabric 0.16.10+
Fabric API: 0.92.3+ (since 0.92.3 fixes a bug that may cause issues with this mod)
Multiplayer: Must be installed on both Server and Client
Singleplayer: Only need to install on Client

Note

• If installed only on the server and not on the client, issues such as “Missing mod” or “Block ID cannot be resolved” may occur when connecting to this server.
• If installed only on the client, you can still join a server that does not have this mod installed (the client-side mod blocks will not take effect on that server).
