About

Description

Find the strange ruins in the ocean, it contains some nice loot but beware, some adventurers that have gone in search of riches have never come back. I wonder why?

(I recommend using fluidlogged API or some similar mods to have the best experience).

Here's why:

The Lunkertooth:

These beasts are hidden in the chests! Luckily not all of them, but still. Maybe they were a guardian of sorts of an elder civilization with their purpose now long forgotten and fighting for survival, or maybe they are an evolved species that found that adventurers were tastier than most other fish and easier to lure. You will not want to run onto one of them.

However, if you somehow manage to survive you can get some rewards:

  • A lunkertooth egg:

Have unfinished bussiness with someone? put a lunkertooth egg on a single chest to turn it into one that contains a lunkertooth, sent them a little surprise!

  • The lunkertooth's esca:

Sometimes named "lure" these escas are a food source, not a great one, probably it tastes a bit weird but grants the person who eats it the chance to see all nearby chests, maybe you can find someone else's buried treasure with it. (might not work that well with shaders)

FAQ:

Q: 1.1x version please:

A: I will very likely port this if it gets somewhat popular, I wanna polish it a bit more and probably fix some issues that might arise before that. Else I will very likely include the contents of this mod onto another project.

Q: Mcreator?

A: No, never ever.
