Description
This mod adds a leggings enchat, hence "Deep Pockets", that adds an additional 9 inventory slots with each level, up to 27 total in a 9x3 grid to the right of the vanilla inventory.
Backstory
This mod is an attempt at testing a potential fix for Minecrafts inventory issue. The game has had huge growth in blocks and items the player can pick up and its gotten really tedius to explore or go caving before getting shulker boxes, even then its not a great experience having to manage a moving storage room of shulkers.
This idea comes from a live stream I was listening too before bed, I genuinely forgot who or I would call them out here because its a great idea. The idea was to have an enchantment with 3 levels that would add slots to the inventory.
I like that idea a lot and started off working on learning mixins to attempt to modify the Vanilla inventory, turns out that is a lot more work than makes sense to tackle so I settled fo what you see here instead. a 9x3 inventory to the side with extra slots that unlock with each level of the enchat. Its full compatible with all containers and work benches, no messing around with opening shulkers, or dumping contents of a bundle.
I've made sure the mod works with servers, there has been no addition of any "net code" to get this working.
