Description

🌀 Deja Vu

Your world is a simulation. And it's breaking down.

Deja Vu is a slow-burn, high-quality psychological horror mod that fundamentally changes how you experience Minecraft. There are no cheap, constant jump scares or giant screaming monsters. Instead, the horror comes from the slow, inescapable decay of the world around you, and the creeping realization that you are being hunted by something that absolutely doesn't belong in the game.

🍂 Reality Decay (The Dissonance System)

The longer you survive and the further you explore, the more your reality rots. A hidden "Dissonance" system tracks the instability of your world, perfectly scaling with your survival days. As your Dissonance rises, the simulation glitches out:

  • Stage 1: The colors drain. Grass turns to dead dirt, and nature starts to wither away.
  • Stage 2: The simulation tries to save memory. High-value blocks like Ores and End Stone degrade into cheap Cobblestone.
  • Stage 3: Trees, structures, and Nether forests mutate into rigid, repetitive grids of Oak Planks.
  • Stage 4: The very ground beneath you shatters. The sky turns a sickening purple, and intense VHS scanlines distort your vision as reality collapses.
  • Multi-Dimensional: Nowhere is safe. The rot spreads directly into the Nether and the End, stripping away their unique blocks and replacing them with cheap Overworld copies.

🕴️ The Shadow (Anomaly)

As your reality decays, an anomaly begins to manifest: Anomaly. He is a silent, pitch-black silhouette with glowing white eyes and a high-quality glitched vortex on his chest.

  • The Stalker: He watches you from the trees and the fog.
  • The Jump-Scare: If he catches you off guard, he will explode into a chaotic burst of high-quality geometric glitch particles, accompanied by terrifying custom audio.
  • The Rule: Do not try to fight him. Attacking him will severely punish you, instantly skyrocketing your Dissonance and accelerating the rot.

🛡️ The Safe Zone (The Ethereal Anchor)

You are not completely helpless. By crafting the epic Ethereal Anchor, you can project a massive, high-quality glowing dome of cyan geometric Fibonacci-sphere particles.

  • While inside the dome, the Rot cannot touch you.
  • Your Dissonance slowly heals, restoring the colors of reality.
  • The Shadow is physically banished and cannot enter your sanctuary.

🌌 The Abyssal Trench

Falling into the void in the Overworld or the End no longer kills you. Instead, you fall completely through the floor of the simulation and wake up in the Abyssal Trench—an infinite, pitch-black wasteland made of deeply fractured obsidian glass.

  • The Spires: Navigate through the crushing darkness by following the massive, towering Resonance Crystal spires that bleed glowing cyan isometric particles into the air.
  • The Escape: If you survive the trench and find the center crater at (0, 0), you will find a single glowing Abyssal Core. Right-clicking it will shatter the core, violently teleporting you back to the Overworld... and dropping the ultimate prize: the Dissonance Crystal.

⏱️ The Chrono-Dial

Use the Dissonance Crystal to craft the most epic endgame artifact: The Chrono-Dial. This intricately animated, high-quality pocket watch literally gives you Deja Vu. By right-clicking it, the Dial rips you exactly 5 seconds back through time. It instantly teleports you to where you just were, restores any health you lost, and allows you to escape the Shadow's jump-scares.

Are you losing your mind, or is the simulation finally breaking?

🌀 Deja Vu

Your world is a simulation. And it is running out of memory.

Deja Vu is a slow-burn, psychological horror mod that fundamentally changes how you experience Minecraft. There are no sudden jump scares or giant screaming monsters. Instead, the horror comes from the slow, inescapable decay of the world around you and the feeling that you are being watched by something that doesn't belong in the game.

🍂 Reality Decay (The Dissonance System)

The longer you survive and the further you explore, the more your world begins to rot. A hidden "Dissonance" system tracks the instability of your reality. As your Dissonance rises, the world glitches out:

Stage 1: The colors drain. Grass turns to dirt, and flowers warp into repeating dandelions. Stage 2: The simulation tries to save memory. High-value blocks like Ores, Ancient Debris, and End Stone degrade into cheap Cobblestone. Stage 3: Trees, structures, and Nether forests mutate into rigid, repetitive grids of Oak Planks. Stage 4: The very ground beneath you shatters into Bedrock grids, the sky turns a sickening purple, and VHS scanlines distort your vision. Multi-Dimensional: Nowhere is safe. The rot spreads into the Nether and the End, stripping away their unique blocks and replacing them with cheap Overworld copies.

🕴️ The Anomaly (Anomaly)

As your reality decays, a new, mysterious anomaly begins to manifest in your world: Anomaly. He is a silent, pitch-black silhouette with glowing white eyes and a glitched blue vortex on his chest.

The Watcher: He does not attack. He simply stands in the distance, watching you from the trees or the fog. The Gaze: If you look directly at him, a heavy heartbeat will play, and he will vanish. The Rule: Do not try to fight him. Attacking the anomaly will severely punish you, instantly skyrocketing your Dissonance and accelerating the rot of your world.

🚪 The Endless Maze (The Backrooms)

Falling into the void in the Overworld or the End no longer kills you. Instead, you fall through the floor of the simulation and wake up in the Endless Maze—an infinite, claustrophobic dimension of yellow wallpaper, humming fluorescent lights, and sputtering lightbulbs.

To escape, you must navigate the winding corridors to find the center Glitch Beacon. Beware: you are not alone in the maze.

Are you losing your mind, or is the simulation finally breaking?
