About
Description
My first modding project and on a simple idea: why, if there are blocks of raw material just for storage, can't they also be a natural block?
INTRODUCING: DENSER VEINS!
This mod allows you to increase your chances of obtaining more materials without all the effort. It simply makes the veins "denser" by having raw material blocks appear within their respective veins.
Of course, this feature is completely configurable, and you can change which blocks appear by simply changing the name of the block you want. I CAN BECAME REALLY CHAOTIC REALLY QUICK so please, use this funtion with caution.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
- Download the mod (DUH)
- Place it on your minecraft/mods file, be sure of use the correct version.
- Run your minecraft game launcher.
- BEFORE CREATING A NEW WORLD, CLOSE THE GAME.
- Go to the config file on your minecraft and find a config file called
denserveins-common.toml, this is the configuration file where you can determinate which blocks are replaced by whom.
For example if you type["minecraft:coal_ore,minecraft:coal_block"], all coal ore up to certain amount will replace some into coal blocks. - If you want to change more of one blocks be sure of add a comma at the end of each.
Example:["minecraft:coal_ore,minecraft:coal_block", "minecraft:iron_ore,minecraft:raw_iron_block"] - After that, save the file and run the game again, now you can create any world with all the new configuration
WARNING: IT IS RECOMENDED TO START A NEW WORLD EACH TIME YOU CHANGE THE CONFIG FILE SINCE IT MESSES WITH THE WORLD BLOCK GENERATION, IT CAN CAUSE PERFORMANCE ISSUES AND OVERALL DISASTER IF YOU DON'T FOLLOW THE INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
For a more vanilla like experience, you can use this configuration by copying and paste this string on the config file, just remember to replace the [] inside:["minecraft:coal_ore,minecraft:coal_block", "minecraft:iron_ore,minecraft:raw_iron_block", "minecraft:copper_ore,minecraft:raw_copper_block", "minecraft:gold_ore,minecraft:raw_gold_block", "minecraft:deepslate_coal_ore,minecraft:coal_block", "minecraft:deepslate_iron_ore,minecraft:raw_iron_block", "minecraft:deepslate_copper_ore,minecraft:raw_copper_block", "minecraft:deepslate_gold_ore,minecraft:raw_gold_block"]
Now go and enjoy your new mining experience!
If you are interested on more, i'll always open on suggestions and also i'll be taking any commissions or suggestions.
As a final note: this mod will be solely for this version and i'll will not backport nor update the version, or change the FML to fabric so DO NOT BOTHER ASKING.
