Pick one animation, stack a few together, or enable them all. It's entirely up to you.
Fine-tune how fast everything plays with the speed slider. Anywhere from a 0.1× speed to an unhinged 5.0× speed.
✅ Works in Multiplayer
Here's how it works:
- Server has Descriptive installed — your styled name is shown to everyone automatically, no extra setup needed.
- Vanilla or unmodded server — Descriptive will ask if you want to connect to an external relay server so other Descriptive users can still see your name. This connection is opt-in, you can enable this function in the Descriptive Settings > Toggle Relay... Menu.

🎮 Minecraft Client
- Download Descriptive and the Fabric API.
- Drop it in your
mods/folder - Boot up Minecraft
- Launch a world, press
Uor type/descriptive configand go customize!
🖥️ Minecraft Server
- Download Descriptive
- Drop it in your server's
mods/orplugins/folder - Start the server. You can allow or disallow players to use the mod in the
descriptive-server.tomlfile
⚠️ Only download from Modrinth. Don't trust random sites!
