Description

This is an official add-on to the Diamethysts mod. The Diamethysts mod is a required dependency and this mod will not work without it.
The mod adds a selection of medieval weaponry to the existing collection of Diamethyst weapons. Each weapon has unique abilities detailed below. The weapons are fully compatible with the Better Combat mod.
Diamethyst Glaive
The glaive is a type of pole weapon with historical origins in Europe, known for its distinctive design and versatile combat applications. It typically consists of a single-edged blade approximately 45 centimeters long affixed to a pole measuring about 2 meters.

The Diamethyst Glaive has a built in Sweeping Edge I effect. It is best used for long range attacks where it does the most damage. Close combat is not as effective.
Diamethyst Halberd
The halberd is a two-handed polearm that came to prominent use from the 13th to 16th centuries. The halberd consists of an axe blade topped with a spike mounted on a long shaft.

The Diamethyst Halberd has a built in Sharpness I effect. Like the glaive, it is best used for long range attacks where it does the most damage.
Diamethyst Lochaber Axe
The lochaber axe is a type of poleaxe that was used almost exclusively in Scotland. It was usually mounted on a staff about five feet long.

The Diamethyst Lochaber Axe has the ability to disable shields. Like the glaive and halberd, it is best used for long range attacks.
Diamethyst Ranseur
The ranseur is a polearm similar to the partisan used in Europe up to the 15th century. The head of a ranseur consists of a spear-tip affixed with a cross hilt at its base. Often this hilt is crescent-shaped, giving it an appearance similar to that of a trident.

The Diamethyst Ranseur has a 50% chance (configurable) to dismount a mounted attacker. Once again, it is best used for long range attacks.
