Description
Diamond Salvage Table
Give your worn-out diamond gear a second life.
Diamond Salvage Table adds a new workstation that lets you recover diamonds from damaged diamond tools and armor based on their remaining durability.
Instead of throwing away nearly-broken equipment, salvage it and recover part of the resources used to craft it.
Features
- Recover diamonds from damaged diamond tools and armor (Only Vanilla Items)
- Diamond return scales with remaining durability
- Multi-diamond items always return at least 1 diamond
- Items crafted with only 1 diamond return:
- 1 diamond at 50% durability or higher
- 0 diamonds below 50% durability
- Preserve enchantments from enchanted gear
- Use a regular book to extract enchantments into an enchanted book
- Custom Diamond Salvage Table block
- Custom GUI
- Custom sound effect
- Survival crafting recipe
- Designed for Fabric 26.2
How to use
Place your diamond gear in the upper input slot.
If the item is enchanted, place a regular book in the second input slot.
The Salvage Table will preview the number of diamonds you can recover.
Press the Salvage button to dismantle the item and receive the recovered diamonds.
If the item was enchanted, its enchantments are transferred to an enchanted book.
Balance
The mod is designed to reward recycling without making diamond recovery too powerful.
Heavily damaged items return fewer diamonds, while better-preserved gear gives more materials back.
Compatibility
- Minecraft 26.2
- Fabric
- Fabric API required
A Special Note From The Author:
Hello, fellow Minecraft players!
I originally planned and made this mod for myself, and this is actually my very first mod. Since I literally started with zero experience in modding, I’d also like to mention that I got a lot of help from AI while creating it.
I thought some of you might find it useful too, so I decided to share it with the community. I hope you enjoy it!
Happy salvaging, everyone!
Built with MCreator.
