📖 DARK DIARY — A Minecraft Horror Experience

The world seems normal… until something starts watching you.

Dark Diary is a horror mod for Minecraft Java Edition 1.20.1 (Forge), built around terrifying creatures, mysterious structures, disturbing events, and a dark story waiting to be uncovered.

As the days pass, the world becomes increasingly dangerous. Strange figures watch from a distance, unexplained sounds surround you, and the line between reality and paranoia begins to disappear.

👁️ TERRIFYING CREATURES

Several original entities haunt your world, each with its own behavior and threats.

• The Stalker — A mysterious creature that observes you from the shadows. You may notice it watching long before you understand what it wants.
  

• O Distúrbio — A presence that becomes increasingly dangerous over time. At first, it stalks you and disappears when approached. But as the days pass, its behavior changes, and escaping an encounter may only postpone the inevitable.
  

• O Visitante — A mysterious entity whose true intentions are part of the horror waiting to be discovered.
  

• A Aberração — A particularly aggressive creature that begins appearing later in your survival. It may watch you, attempt to lure you closer, and unleash a terrifying jumpscare if you approach. Look directly into its eyes for too long, and you may trigger a disturbing phenomenon: like a Weeping Angel, it moves when you aren't watching.
  

The Aberração can climb, squeeze through narrow spaces, break certain obstacles, and pursue its victims with frightening persistence.

🏚️ MYSTERIOUS STRUCTURES

Explore abandoned places that hide more than just loot.

• Abandoned Cabins — Discover different cabin variations, including an older and larger version containing useful supplies.
  

• House Vasconcelos — An old, ruined family mansion connected to the dark history behind the creatures.

The mansion contains a library filled with records of the Vasconcelos family, an office holding notes and maps, and a sealed basement where the truth about the beginning of everything may finally be revealed.

Explore carefully. Some discoveries may be more disturbing than you expect.

🧠 PARANOIA AND SANITY

As your survival continues, the horror may begin affecting more than the world around you.

A paranoia system is planned to introduce unsettling experiences, including:

• Footsteps and knocks coming from behind you.

• Doors opening by themselves.

• Whispers and strange sounds.

• Flickering torches.

• Fake chat messages from mysterious sources.

• Items seemingly changing places.

• Humanoid shadows and mobs staring at you.

Medicine can temporarily relieve these effects, but repeated use comes with increasingly dangerous side effects, including nausea, sickness, and reversed controls.

📚 A STORY HIDDEN IN THE DARKNESS

Discover books written as personal reports, with dated entries documenting strange encounters and unsettling discoveries.

Piece together the clues, investigate the structures, and uncover the story behind the creatures. The deeper you explore, the more questions you may find — and not every answer will be comforting.
