What do pirates, dwarves and barbarians all have in common? They all love a good drink. This Minecraft data pack implements the processes of fermentation and distillation to brew drinks. Are you up for the challenge of becoming a master brewer?

Fermentation

In a cauldron full of water, drop a Water Bottle plus 16 of one of these ingredients. You will see some particles, and you will be able to pick up the finished product when it's done.

• 16 Sugarcane --> Fermented Sugar
• 16 Wheat --> Fermented Yeast
• 16 Sweet Berries --> Fermented Berries
• 16 Potatos --> Fermented Potatoes
• 16 Fern --> Fermented Fern
• 16 Cactus --> Fermented Cactus
• 32 Wheat Seeds --> Fermented Seeds

Special Drinks

• 13 Chorus Flower --> Fermented Chorus
• 15 Crimson Fungus --> Fermented Crimson
• 12 Torchflower --> Fermented Torchflower

Do not drink these

Distillation

In a cauldron full of water, with a fire(soul fire, campfire, soul campfire, fire, or magma block) underneath, drop your fermented drink. You will see bubbles while it cooks. When the distillation is complete you will see some green particles and hear a sound. Collect the water from the cauldron with a bucket as fast as you can when this happens. Depending on how fast you reacted, the quality of the final drink will be from 1 to 5 stars

Each drink gives you a different level of drunkness and duration of being drunk (you don't know how much).

• Rum --> Conduit Power

• Beer --> Haste

• Wine --> Regeneration

• Vodka --> Strength

• Whiskey --> Speed

• Tequila and Absinthe have different effects based on the star rating

Special Drink Effects At 5 stars

• Crimson Wine --> 1-minute fire resistance
• Chorsu Bourbon --> Randomly Teleports up to 100 blocks
• Torchflower Baijiu --> 32 seconds Absorption + Night Vision

Drunkness

All qualities give random effects:

• Nausea
• Blindness
• Look Up Randomly
• Slowness
• Speed

Lower quality random effects:

• Poison
• Hunger Higher quality random effects:
• Longer Speed
• Drink Effect Lasts 2 times Longer
