About

Description

Disable Front Camera is a lightweight client-side Minecraft mod that removes the front-facing third-person camera from the normal camera cycle.

By default, pressing F5 cycles through Minecraft's camera perspectives:

  1. First Person
  2. Third Person
  3. Front-Facing Third Person

This mod removes the Front-Facing Third Person perspective, allowing you to switch between first-person and normal third-person view without accidentally entering the front camera.

Features

Skips the front camera when cycling through perspectives. Keeps first-person and rear third-person views available as normal. Client-side only — the mod does not need to be installed on a server. Lightweight — designed to make only the necessary camera behavior change. No configuration required — install the mod and it works automatically.

Why use this mod?

The front-facing camera can be inconvenient when repeatedly switching perspectives with F5, especially during building, PvP, exploration, or gameplay where you frequently switch between first-person and third-person views.

With Disable Front Camera installed, pressing F5 cycles only between the camera perspectives you actually want to use.

Example

Without the mod:

First Person → Third Person → Front Camera → First Person

With the mod:

First Person → Third Person → First Person

Compatibility

Minecraft:26.2 Mod Loader:Fabric Environment:Client-side Server installation:Not required

Lightweight & Simple

Disable Front Camera is designed to do one thing and do it without unnecessary features or configuration.

If you simply want to remove the front-facing camera from Minecraft's F5 camera cycle, this mod is for you.
