Description

A simple, lightweight mod that prevents you from being kicked from your own world, even when playing in singleplayer.

The mod also optimizes the Chunky mod, which is often the main reason behind disconnections. These drops typically occur when moving around (triggering standard chunk loading) while Chunky is simultaneously pre-generating chunk. This dual workload can overwhelm a locally hosted server, leading to a "Connection Lost" error. specifically tailored for lower-end hardware, users with high-end systems may not experience significant performance improvements.

Disconnectum is highly effective for heavy or custom modpacks with 300+ mods, especially on low-end systems. In terms of compatibility, it runs seamlessly alongside ModernFix (leveraging its 'suspend integrated server during loading' feature) and features no functional overlap with other popular optimization mods.

Note: This mod cannot reduce lag or increase your FPS/TPS; its sole purpose is to prevent you from being kicked from your own world.

Features

- Pauses Chunky while the server is overloaded, continues it afterwards (/chunky continue), and caps its parallel chunk requests. You can disable it in the Disconnectium config. (pauseWhenOverloaded = true | default)

- Lowers the priority of background worker threads (Worker-Main-N, Chunky-*).
 
- Postpones vanilla keep-alive timeouts that are caused by lag (server side), and answers keep-alives from the network thread on remote servers (client side).
