Division Sigil
This is a re-creation of the Division Sigil rituals and Unstable ingots from Extra Utilities for NeoForge 1.21+.
Obtaining a Division Sigil

Unactivated division sigils can be found in bastion treasure rooms with a 100% chance (this is different from how Extra Utilities did it).
To set up the sacrificial altar, place an enchanting table on top of at least a 5x5 of dirt-like blocks, surrounded by 8 redstone dust. To activate division sigils in your inventory, kill any mob near the altar around midnight.
Items (current)
- Unstable Ingot - Same recipe as Extra Utilities; divide iron by diamond with the division sigil in a vanilla crafting table. They must be used within 10 seconds to avoid an explosion.
- Semi-stable Nugget - Divide gold nuggets by diamond to get a more stable version of the unstable material, just like Extra Utilities.
- Builder's Wand - a simple builder's wand to build matching blocks all at once.
- Etheric Sword - Functions like a diamond sword except that it consumes no durability when attacking a mob
- Reversing Hoe - Reverts crop stages, farmland to dirt, dirt to grass, and netherrack to nylium (the last one is new to this mod). There is JEI integration as well for the reversing hoe.
- Healing Axe - Costs HP to attack entities with this axe. Heals any attacked mob, except for undead ones, which take 4x bonus damage instead.
- Destruction Pickaxe - Functions like a diamond pickaxe, albeit much more efficient on ordinary stone-like blocks.
- Erosion Shovel - Functions like a diamond shovel, albeit much more efficient on ordinary dirt-like blocks. Additionally, will destroy an entire column of the same falling block.
- Cursed Earth - A by-product of the Division Sigil sacrifice ritual. Tries to spawn a monster on each random tick. Burns up to dirt in the sunlight. Can be dug up and moved around with Silk touch; otherwise drops dirt.
- Pseudo-Inversion Sigil - Right-click a Beacon in the End with an activated division sigil and check JEI to learn more about the ritual that converts it to a Pseudo-Inversion sigil, which has infinite uses and can be used for a stable version of the Unstable Ingot.
- Klein Ingots - obtained by dividing netherite by diamond with a pseudo-inversion sigil. These can be used with upgrade templates found in end cities to upgrade unbreakable unstable tools to netherite tier.
Disenchanting with Division/Pseudo-Inversion sigils
Divide any enchanted item by diamond to remove all enchants (including curse enchantments) from it.
Divide any enchanted item by an enchanted book to downgrade the corresponding enchants by the levels in the enchanted book (e.g. if the input item is Unbreaking III and the book is Unbreaking I, the result will be Unbreaking II).
Future Plans
- Unstable Block, etc. as well as new items that weren't in the original Extra Utilities
