Description
Have you ever found searching for strongholds, walking to the end portal, and needing to fight a lot of mobs to be too tiring? Ever wished that you could've made your own end portal for incredibly easy access to the end? No, you never had a problem with it? Well too bad!
This mod allows players to build their own end portals wherever they want through a needlessly complicated series of events that might not be worth the effort! Sound fun? Of course it does! Do you want to know how to make your own end portal? I'm not even gonna wait for you to answer that question!
Step 1: Get the materials! This sounds easy, and it mostly is, but the important components here are endstone and void hearts. The Endstone would be easy, unless you haven't been to the end before! How should someone acquire endstone without going to the end? My answer: meteorites. You can now find meteorites made of some tough stuff, that contain end debris inside of them! End debris is not endstone! But after some smelting, crafting, and a bit of submerging, then suddenly it becomes endstone! Void hearts can also be found in the same kinds of meteorites, so keep a look out for any void stones you find!
Step 2: craft! There's 2 components you need to craft your very own end portal frame: the base and the framing. I know the framing looks decorative, but trust me it's not! These items are fairly expensive to craft, and then combining them is also expensive, so I hope you have enough materials for 12 of these portal frames!
step 3: ritual? So now you have your frames, but hold on you can't make a portal yet! These frames are deactivated, so they won't work until you activate them during very specific conditions. I'll speed you through them: 1. have the portal built correctly stupid! 2. put it over lava! 3. put it decently underground! 4. build it in an enclosed space and 5. activate it at night! I am not going to explain any of it to you, this is advanced quantum physics we're talking about! The final step is to activate it with a void key, which you can make with a void heart. Just right-click the center block of the souther side of the portal with all conditions met and suddenly your portal is activated! Why this side? Because this mod author couldn't figure out how to make it work with any block because he's stupid!
step 4: insert eyes. Congratulations! You made a functioning end portal. All that's left to do is insert your eyes of ender (you better have some or so help me GOD) and you've just made your very own end portal! Great job champ!
other than being able to make end portals, this mod also has a few other extra goodies. For one, the void key isn't just an item to activate end portals, otherwise it'd be useless! Instead, you can use the void key to store a location in the world by sneaking while using it, then you can instantaneously teleport to that location with a simple right click! The only downsides is that it takes 4 hearts from you every time, and you need to regularly charge it with ender pearls, but it should be fine! The other bonus is meteorites. This is unintentional, but meteorite blocks are now the most durable block in the game. They take longer to mine than obsidian, and if you use anything under a diamond pickaxe, you simply don't get anything from meteorites, so they might be good for base building. Who knows!
and there you go, this teeny tiny mod for convenience sake that secretly isn't actually convenient even slightly! I hope you enjoy never using it!
