About
Description
dontdie
The goal of this mod is clear, rewarding players that can live more, and punish those who resort to death as a means to an easy path.
Current Features
- Upon respawn, you will receive random amounts of damage.
- You will also receive random debuff effects (default: weakness, blindness, poison) with varying chances.
- It is highly configurable
- Native integration with the mod firstaid (it will avoid damaging vital body parts to death)
Planned Features
- Teleport close to death point (configurable)
- Item (or menu) for teleporting to the death point (configurable)
- Cumulative penalties for simultaneous deaths
- An effect received upon multiple sequential deaths that will mark the player, and have some "dire consequences"
- Random buffs for players that are surviving for long enough
- An effect for players that survive well with rewards
- World events that will reward players that are good survivors
Configurations
You can configure the dontdie-common.toml file. It will have all the options and comments explaining what each thing do, and the format is quite intuitive.
End
Have fun! If you find any problem, please open an issue in the source repository. Also, if you want to request something you can open an issue as well. And feel free to contribute if you want!
