Description
You start with one item and double it every day! On day 1 you have to collect just 1 item, day 2 you need 2 items, and then already 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256, 512 and after 10 days you already need over a thousand.
Setup
Put this data pack in the data pack folder of your world and reload. If the world is older, and not on day 0, use the reset command.
How To Start
Press G while holding an item in your main hand. This will open a menu. Click Submit Items and confirm the item you want to play with. Now you have to collect twice as many items every day, to keep the challenge going.
Submit Items
Press G again to now submit items. If you have enough items for the day, the slider will be exactly set on how many items you need. But you can always submit more or less.
Game End
The challenge only stops when you lose! So try to get as far as possible before that!
Fun Commands
/time rate 2
This makes the time go by twice as fast. Now a day is only 10 minutes. If you use "/time rate 4" a day is only 5 minutes and so on. It makes the challenge even more difficult! But note that the time left displayed on top of your hotbar is now wrong, and will also go by faster.
Reset
If you want to reset the challenge, use this command:
/function double_it:reset
This will set the day back to 0 and delete the items submitted!
