Description
This mod adds a keybind that doubles any item in your main-hand. The default keybind is "=" (equals), though you can change that in the Misc section of the Controls menu.
Intended for singleplayer and LAN. While it might work, servers are not supported.
Also works when cheats are disabled.
Available for:
[Forge] 1.20.1 | 1.19.X | 1.18.X | 1.17.1 | 1.16.5 | 1.15.2 | 1.14.4 | 1.12.2 | 1.7.10
[Fabric] 1.20.X | 1.19.X | 1.18.2 | 1.17.X | 1.16.5 | 1.15.2
As there are 15 files across 45 different versions and organization may be challenging, I suggest navigating to Files -> View All -> Game Version and selecting your desired version.
I'm not sure why a mod like this wasn't created yet, so I did it. With this weird named but straightforward mod, you can double any item in your main-hand as simply as pressing a button (configurable in Misc section, default is =). It works even when cheats are disabled. It works with both blocks and items, modded or not, and keeps their NBT data.
This mod was meant to be used in singleplayer mode and LAN (I haven't tested it on servers) by those who want an easier life, are feeling like it or just want something like this installed in case of need. Whatever be your reason, it will do what it's supposed to do, so I hope you like it :)
This may be a simple concept mod, but be aware that it is completely capable of ruining your fun considering its high balance-breaking potential. I mean, there's no direct drawback to it; you press the keybind and a 2 turns into 4. Use it lightly (recommended only when extremely needed) if you want to help maintain a long playthrough, unless you know how to use it moderately (i.e. not abuse it).
!!! The max amount you can have in a single slot in vanilla can NOT be above the 32bit int limit of 2,147,483,647 - if you double your item beyond that limit, the item will disappear!
!!! Minecraft saves stores up to 127 items in a single slot. If you have 128 or more items in the same slot, the item will disappear once you reload the world.
