Description
Dusk Autumns Worldgen
This is a relatively small datapack that simply adds nine new biomes to the game, whether they be transitional, or just for aesthetics! I believe they add a little more to the worlds they exist in! If you know your way around the biome tag system, you will be happy to note that this datapack properly tags every single biome that is added, painfully! Additionally, I have added a new structure to the game, well, two but they are just recolors of eachother. Swamp villages!
So far, I have added the following biomes:
- Snowy Stony Shore replaces stony shores in snowy regions
- Snowy Old Growth Spruce Taiga replaces taigas in snowy regions
- Snowy Old Growth Pine Taiga replaces taigas in snowy regions (seriously why are they there?)
- Frozen Mangrove Swamp in snowy regions
- Cold Forest replace forests when they are close to a snowy region
- Cold Plains replace plains when they are close to a snowy region
- Warm Rivers when a river cuts through a mesa or desert region
- Warm Forest replace forests when they are close to a dry region
- Warm Plains replace plains when they are close to a dry region
I have also added the following structures:
- Swamp Villages spawns in the swamps
- Mangrove Swamp Villages spawns in mangrove swamps, is just a red variant of swamp villages
In the future, I may add structures to this, most likely some dig sites in the desert. I dont think I will add Jungle villages but they are a low possibility
Due to the nature of mistakes, if you find any please join the discord and let me know so I may try and fix them.
Additionally, if you use the Biome Tag Villagers mod created by my dear acquaintance The Ender Core, the new biomes will have villagers properly assign villagers the proper outfits, as opposed to the default plains ones!
Due to how datapacks work, you cannot use this datapack with any other datapacks that add new biomes! They will cause errors
