This mod will not run without Architectury API installed.
This is a backport of the modern Dynamic Surroundings (NeoForge/Fabric 1.21.1 branch), bringing its immersive ambient systems, environmental effects, and audiovisual enhancements into Forge 1.20.1 with a strong focus on stability and parity.
Overview
Dynamic Surroundings is a well-known immersion mod designed to enhance Minecraft’s atmosphere through improved environmental audio, visual effects, and world ambiance.
It adds subtle but impactful changes that make biomes feel more alive, dangerous, and dynamic without altering core gameplay.
This port aims to preserve that experience as faithfully as possible while making it fully compatible with Forge 1.20.1.
