You can Make it from

  • Crafting Table
  • Furnace/Blast Furnace
  • Smithing Table
  • Campfire
  • StoneCutter

Crafting Table Recipe

Put Carrot, Charcoal, and Sugar (don't ask about carrot)

make gunpowder in crafting table using Sugar, Charcoal, and Carrot, resulting 4 gunpowder

Furnace Or Blast Furnace Recipe

Put Charcoal in the top slot

Put Charcoal in the Furnace or Blast Furnace as top slot, resulting Gunpowder

Campfire Cooking

Right Click campfire with magma cream

putting magma cream on campfire and the result is gunpowder

Smithing Table

this is crazy put cooked Cod, Bone Meal, and Totem Of Undying

put Cooked Cod, Bone Meal, and Totem Of Undying in Smithing Table

StoneCutter

put Magma Block and get 2 gunpowder

put magma block in stonecutter and get 2 gunpowder
