Description
Undoes the original beta 1.8 Farlands patch and injects code that allows for the farlands to be scaled, moved, and manipulated.
PAGE UPDATE ON 8/3/2026 FOR UPDATE 1.1
short changelog:
ADDITIONS:
-new farlands generation types
-detailed tooltips for all menu options
-new beyond world type with generation from -512 to 1024
-new abyssal depths biome that places in the deepest oceans (down to -400 in beyond)
CHANGES:
-changed the way farlands wall patterning is created
-world creation menu options replaced with settings button that accessess a new menu
-changed config architecture for server use
-now requires geckolib
showcase:
select the distance and scaling type from the world creation screen, the distances are standard (10k, 50k, 100k, 1m, and original 12,550,823)

There is a config option which uses the custom config value, it can be anything and set from the main menu mods tab or the config file (useful for servers).
scaling changes how the farlands progresses. unscaled is vanilla and unchanged, the others compress the terrain allowing for things like the fartherlands, corner fartherlands, and other generation glitches to appear within the world border rather than billions of blocks out.
(fartherlands at 2.25 million blocks out in exponential scale)
