Description
Ecospherical Expansion Lite is a datapack aimed towards recreating biomes with more diversity and aesthetically pleasing scenes. The mod version of this datapack has many more features such as custom rocks, giant trees, underground pillar formations, and lots more. (https://modrinth.com/mod/ecospherical-expansion)
Additionally, this datapack adds custom integration with the Large Biomes and Amplified world presets; While also adding 7 new world presets to chose from.
NOTE: Versions below 1.19.4 do not have world presets. In those versions, this datapack simply redoes the vanilla biomes.
Default:
- Terrain above the surface is the same as vanilla.
- Caves are now much more open.
- Oceans now lead into sprawling cave systems.
Large Biomes:
- Adds some massive plateaus with smooth surfaces.
- Biomes are much larger.
Amplified:
- Biome generation has been altered to make Y63 and below always oceans.
- World height has been extended to Y512.
- Terrain has been reworked to add massive variation in style across large distances.
- There are now small floating islands that generate above the existing terrain.
Tropospherical:
- Sparse floating islands.
- The bottom of the world is entirely submerged in ocean.
- The nether is also transformed in the same way.
Stratospherical:
- Large, multi-layered, dense floating islands.
- The bottom of the world is an empty void.
- The nether is also transformed in the same way.
OG Stratospherical:
- Ridiculously dense floating islands.
- Insane amounts of verticality.
- Does not have the floating island rivers. (To stay consistent with the OG mod.)
- The nether is not affected. (To stay consistent with the OG mod.)
Mesospherical:
- A large, single layer of moderately spaced floating islands.
- The bottom of the world is an empty void.
- The nether is also transformed in the same way.
Thermospherical:
- Two layers of sparse floating islands.
- Floating islands are made to be more vertically variant.
- The bottom of the world is an empty void.
- The nether is also transformed in the same way.
Lithospherical:
- One massive cave system comprises the entire world.
- World height has been lowered to Y128.
- The nether is also transformed to have a similar appearance, but the height remains the same.
Asthenospherical:
- The top of the dimension is one massive ceiling.
- One layer of small, but dense, floating islands.
- World height has been lowered to Y128.
- The nether is also transformed in the same way.
Screenshots of each preset can be found in the gallery on this page.
Compatability:
- Terralith: Incompatible.
- Biomes O' Plenty: Compatible on only the Default and Large Biomes world presets. (This is likely the case for all terrablender-based biome mods.)
