Description

Ecosystemization is a mod that fixes my BIGGEST issue with infection mods!

Your world gets infected. What now?

Ecosystemization plans to change this by adding ecosystems to every infected biome! This includes new mobs, special interactions between them, and food-chains. It doesn't affect player gameplay all too much. However in future updates, you will be able to join these ecosystems.

Also the mod tag is Ecsosystemization, I know.

Each creature in the ecosystem has a hunger meter, which dicates it's behavior!

Inspired by Rain World, Subnautica, and many more games!

Current Ecosystems:

Sculk Horde - ~50% complete

  • Sculk Horde Ecosystem:
    • Sculk Truffle: The producers of the Ecosystem, grows into large structures and pillars which produce the rest of the Ecosystem.
    • Sculk Ant: The MOST prevelent part of the ecosystem, small ants that feed on Sculk Truffle. Main prey for the entire ecosystem. Reproduces from eating, and from the Ant hives created by grown Sculk Truffles.
    • Sculk Walker (Redesign Soon): A predator to the Sculk And and ONLY a Sculk Ant, they actively run around hunting them. Can reproduce via eating, and by Sculk Truffles growing them. Will defend themselves if necesairy.
    • Sculk Vulture: Slow moving flying entities that grow from the Bone Pillars that the Sculk Truffles create. They spawn in swarms, and the hungrier they are, the faster they travel. They have miniscule heath, and are very fragile. Vultures are oportunistic when hungry, and will try to eat Sculk Walkers, when starving.
    • Sculk Floater: Immobile hunters which cannot starve. They act like Barnacles from Half Life. They wait for something to walk under their tractor beam, and then pull them up into it's mouth.
    • More is planned for this ecosystem.

Planned Ecosystems:

Phayriosis - 0% complete (NOT BEING COMPLETED UNTIL THE REMAKE OF THIS MOD FINISHES DEVELOPMENT)

Desertification - 0% complete

Necro-Rooted - 0% complete

Rise of the Khltchlands: Dawn of Death - 0% complete

Fungal Infection: Spore  - 0% complete

Withering Away: Reborn - 0% complete

The Flesh That Hates - 0% complete

The Soulless Ones - 0% complete

Abominations Infection - 0% complete
