AutoHatch – 5‑Second Item Incubation

This mod does one thing: when you drop an egg as an item onto a solid block, it sits there for exactly 5 seconds, then hatches into a baby chick. Every time, no randomness.

What it provides

• Dropped egg items hatch after a fixed 5‑second delay.

• 100% hatch rate on any solid surface.

• The egg stays as an item on the ground for those 5 seconds.

• No new blocks, no new items – it only changes how the egg item behaves on the ground.

How this changes gameplay for you

• You no longer have to rely on the vanilla random chance when trying to get chickens. Just drop eggs from your inventory, and every single one becomes a chick. You can drop a whole stack at once and they'll all hatch together after 5 seconds.

• Because the delay is predictable, you can use a dropper to dispense eggs onto a solid floor at regular intervals. They'll hatch consistently without you having to stand there and handle them manually.

• No waste – every egg you drop counts. In vanilla you'd lose most of them to the 12.5% chance, but now you know exactly how many chickens you're getting.

It's lightweight, works on servers, and doesn't interfere with other mods. Just dropped eggs turning into chicks after 5 seconds.
