Below is a starting guide/info guide to basic content in the mod.
Not everything is explained to avoid spoilers, but some might still be in here for the mod, so read with caution! At the very bottom is a content guide containing all info about the mod.
Ores spawn in at varying Y-Levels in the world with the different elements such as ones showcased in the photo. In the photo, each ore varient of every element is shown with their deepslate version and stone version, they are also labeled with their symbols.
Each element/ore has its own armor set and matching toolset with varying properties. Attempt to make everything real life accurate while maintaining balence was done to try to achieve the perfect balence of realism and functionality, a few armor sets are shown in the image above
Alloys are able to be crafted with 2 (or more) metal powders. Currently the only alloy in the mod is steel with more being worked on actively. Steel can be crafted from iron powder and coal (carbon) powder.
Powders of elements are able to be made via use of a compressor, an item craftable near the start of the playthrough that is needed to make powders of any ore.
There is a custom vacuum smelter that is able to smelt ores with extreme melting points (Such as osmium/platinum, ect.) that are in powder form. The vacuum smelter uses coal blocks and coal as fuel sources, with coal being significantly worse.
------------Guide------------
All elements are obtainable in caves at differing y-levels.
To obtain usable ingots of ores found in caves, you are required to have a compressor and place the raw ore into a compressor, anything better than titanium you must use a steel compressor. After 5 seconds it will crush the ore into a powder which can then be smelting in a furnace or vacuum furnace depending on the element.
Normal Furnace:
-Titanium
-Aluminum
-Bismuth
-Nickel
-Silver
-Tin
-Copper
-Steel (Alloy)
-Bronze (Alloy)
Vacuum Smelter:
-Osmium
-Platinum
-Rhodium
-Tungsten
-Molybdenum
Current elements+alloys in the mod are listed below in orders of worst to best:
Aluminum
Bismuth
Silver
Steel
Nickel
Titanium
Molybdenum
Rhodium
Platinum
Tungsten
Osmium
In the future, there will be a wiki linked in the description of this mod. Until then, there is this information and anything found ingame.
