Description

Split from KadenUtil,
This mod adds a single bossfight against a magical golem with (currently) one puzzle leading up to it, for use as a server event.

I would like to stress that this mod, as of v1.7, Is not completely survival friendly. It is still completeable, but you will not get clues from crafting an altar that you would from finding the structure, which can only be spawned using commands at the moment. Again, stress on the point that YOU CAN CRAFT THE ALTAR, you don't need the structure, it's just thematic and helps with the puzzle.

As for feedback or ideas you have for additional attacks, puzzles, etc, Please leave a comment! I appologize if I'm slow to reply or reject your ideas, This is a hobby of mine that I don't often have time to work on.

I can't figure out how to activate the altar? Help?

To complete the puzzle, Arrange the altar and stone, deepslate (not cobbled) and netherrack relative to the altar as shown in the screenshot. The order does not matter, only that the four blocks for the solution are somewhere in those four spots. The puzzle itself is simply to find the (vanilla) block that fits the pattern of the others.

If you can't solve the puzzle, the block you need is

endstone

I can't / don't want to translate the sigil? Help?

The first two lines read "I scream to the void" and "and the void responds"

These are needed to activate the sigil. To deactivate the sigil, either say something that isn't one of the phrases,

or type the third line "the void screams back" to forcibly close the rift.

Are you sure you want spoilers? It might not affect how you fight the boss, but it might remove a little of the sense of mystery.

To start off this event, go and find the temple. Temporarily, the automatic generation has been replaced with the ability to place it down using the /place_elysian_temple command. I will improve this in future versions.

Really? You want more spoilers?

Then again, it isn't really my job to police this...
So here's some more info!
Once you find the temple, interacting with the altar in the center will give you clues about how to solve the puzzles. The first puzzle is already there and mostly complete, missing one last thing.

A lot of the puzzles are a bit unclear or obtuse (Or gone, for the moment), but that's mostly just my fault for being bad at making them. They all use completely vanilla blocks and animals, so you don't need to take modded stuff into account.

When you finish off the puzzles, the altar will be destroyed and drop the sigil.

By translating and speaking the first two phrases out loud (chat) while holding the sigil, it will unlock the destabilized rift, and the guardian will come through. Keeping the sigil with you through the fight and winning will stabilize the rift, allowing a portal between the nether overworld and end. Also, there is a music disc, and the golem's halberd is left embedded in the ground. Since there has been some confusion, shift right clicking it with two empty hands picks it up.

The text on the sigil is written in Standard Galactic, AKA minecraft enchanting table.

If you're wondering about why there are so many nested spoilers in this description, I really just wanted to see how deep it could go. I haven't reached the limit yet, not by far.
