Description
This mod adds a simple but incredibly useful feature for Elytra users: the ability to cancel your flight at any moment with a customizable keybind. By default, the key is set to Mouse Button 4, but you can change it to whatever works best for your setup.
Normally in vanilla Minecraft, once you start gliding with an Elytra, you have very limited control over stopping midair. This can be frustrating when you want to quickly drop straight down, land precisely, or avoid overshooting your destination. With this mod, you can instantly halt your flight with a single keypress, giving you much more control over your aerial movement.
When the key is pressed, your Elytra flight ends immediately, allowing gravity to take over so you can fall, land, or re-engage your glide however you choose. It’s perfect for maneuvering around tight spaces, performing precise landings, or improving your mobility during exploration, PvP, or parkour.
This mod is fully client-side, meaning it works on any server without requiring installation on the server side. As long as you have the mod installed on your client, the keybind functionality will work in both singleplayer and multiplayer worlds.
