Ever wondered why the most valuable gems in Minecraft are only used for trading? Emerald Essentials changes that! This lightweight mod adds a high-quality equipment tier that bridges the gap between Iron and Diamond.

This mod introduces a classic set of emerald gear, perfectly balanced for a vanilla+ experience:

  • 🛡️ Emerald Armor: A full set (Helmet, Chestplate, Leggings, Boots) with a vibrant, stylish green texture.
  • ⚔️ Emerald Sword: Fast, sharp, and durable.
  • ⛏️ Emerald Pickaxe: Efficient mining speed for your survival needs.
  • 🪓 Emerald Axe: Strong enough to chop down any forest.
  • 👨‍🌾 Emerald Hoe: The ultimate tool for a professional farmer.

[!IMPORTANT] Note: This mod intentionally does not add an emerald shovel to keep the toolset unique and focused.

⚖️ Balancing & Stats

We designed this tier to feel like a natural part of the game:

Attribute Emerald Tier
Durability Better than Iron, slightly less than Diamond
Mining Speed Faster than Iron
Enchantability High (Similar to Gold) — easily get the best enchants!
