About

Description

Tired of enchanting the same set of armor and weapons every playthrough? Specialize your armory with new and reworked enchantments that make your choices matter.

Damage Enchantments

This mod includes config options for exactly which mobs are hurt by Invertebane, Sentinel, or Hunter, so you can tweak the lists or easily add mobs from other mods.

  • Invertebane - replaces Bane of Arthropods, deals extra damage to invertebrates like spiders, creepers, slimes, guardians, and shulkers
  • Sentinel - deals extra damage to humanoids like illagers, witches, piglins, and endermen
  • Hunter - deals extra damage to animals like cows, polar bears, and hoglins
  • Impaling - deals extra damage to all mobs in water or rain, in addition to aquatic mobs

Protection Enchantments

With no more best-in-slot Protection, you'll have to choose which protections you want. All types of protection have been improved and had their maximum level increased to 5. Two level 5 enchantments of the same type (or a single Feather Falling 5 enchantment) will provide maximum protection against that damage, so you can mix and match to customize your protections to whichever damage types you encounter most. For a little extra resilience, you can enchant shields with protection enchantments, which give their resistance while you're holding the shield in your offhand.

  • Melee Protection - replaces Protection, only protecting against melee attacks and collisions
  • Elemental Protection - replaces Fire Protection, additionally protecting against environmental hazards like lightning, frost, and plants
  • Magic Protection - replaces Blast Protection, additionally protecting against magic like poison, withering, guardian beams, and sonic booms
  • Projectile Protection - additionally protects against falling blocks
  • Feather Falling - provides even more protection against falls, but is exclusive with other protection enchantments

Other New Enchantments

A set of brand-new enchantments opens up new options to customize your arsenal! Exclusive enchantments are Endurance/Vitality, High Climb/Swift Stride, Collector/Outstretch, Precise Point/Sweeping Edge, and Nocturnal/both Aqua Affinity and Respiration.

  • Collector - harvests blocks directly into your inventory, with no drops in the world
  • Earth Eater (Treasure) - pickaxes consume basic stones, destroying them for no durability loss
  • Endurance - chestplates reduce food depletion from sprinting, jumping, swimming, and fighting
  • Guillotine (Treasure) - axes can harvest heads from slain monsters or players (configurable, so you can add heads for modded mobs)
  • High Climb - leggings let you step up full blocks
  • Mattock (Treasure) - shovels can harvest basic wood and stone blocks
  • Nocturnal (Treasure) - helmets give night vision and make phantoms neutral to the wearer
  • Outstretch - increases your reach with an enchanted harvest tool
  • Precise Point - increases a sword's attack speed, but prevents sweeping attacks
  • Swift Stride - leggings increase movement speed
  • Verdant (Treasure) - hoes can fertilize crops and saplings at a durability cost
  • Vitality - chestplates speed up natural regeneration and allow healing with less food
