About
Description
Now, to enchant armor, items, or weapons, you first need to find enchanted books that spawn in the underground dungeon. You won’t be able to use regular bookshelves next to the enchanting table!
It’s also pointless to try creating enchantments with books on the anvil — it won’t work.
To enchant items or weapons, you need to fill the carved bookshelves with books placed near the enchanting table. And trust me, they won’t be easy to get!
This mod changes the following game mechanics:
- You can no longer enchant books yourself or buy them from librarian villagers.
- Enchanted books can be found in chests in ancient cities.
- The rarest enchantment books can be bought from wandering traders, but the chance of them having these books is very low.
- The enchanting table is useless without carved bookshelves filled with enchanted books.
- Enchanting on an anvil using a book in the usual way won't work either.
