Description
Made as part of Legacies, with the aim of reimagining the core principles of vanilla Minecraft. Explore, adventure and survive in an all-new world. If you like End Reborn, I highly recommend you check out Legacies!
End Reborn
End Reborn was designed with a particular goal in mind: to integrate seamlessly with both vanilla or any of your favourite End mods. It's non-obtrusive, won't mess up balancing, and will simply enhance, add to and improve aspects of the base End dimension, making it a perfect fit in any world or modpack.
End Reborn focuses on the lategame of Minecraft, specifically lategame equipment alongside content within the End dimension! It has been built to pair perfectly with Progression Reborn out of the box, if you'd like similar enhancements and improvements for the rest of your game.
Featuring a ton of additive, vanilla+ features, from expanding the upgrade template system into a pick-one-of-three system (Remnant - Overworld, Netherite - Nether and Featherzeal - End), to all-new end-dimension content such as reworked chorus fruit with a new woodset, purpur and ametrur blocks and even crystalline to discover.
The vanilla End has been thoughtfully improved in a multitude of ways.
Chorus Rework
Reworked Chorus provides an all-new chorus woodset. Destroying Chorus now drops Chorus Spine, rather than fruit, which can be crafted into sticks and its own woodset, mostly mirroring bamboo with all-new textures! Now, to get that (annoying) teleporting-fruit, you'll need to harvest the fully-grown flower directly from the top.
Seeing as Chorus now serves as a woodset, it is no longer used to craft Purpur blocks, and Popped Chorus is now a food source.
Purpur and Ametrur
Within the outer islands, you'll find large clusters of purpur generated about, serving as the new way to craft the Purpur blockset, now renamed Cut Purpur. Within these clusters, you'll find the darker-purple Ametrur, which has its own blockset you can build with.
Crystalline
Found rarely cocooned within the Ametrur, Raw Crystalline will generate. These may be broken to get shards, which may be crafted into the following.
- Raw Crystalline Block
- Crystalline Block
- Crystalline Lamp
- Crystalline Lantern
- End Rod
Lategame Equipment Overhaul
End Reborn's approach to lategame equivalent (eg Netherite) advocates for player choice and variety. Alongside the Nether's Netherite, the Overworld has received Remnant and the End, Featherzeal. Netherite has been slightly adjusted alongside these new additions to ensure each and every set looks and feels unique, whilst remaining balanced.
All equipment has the same base stats as Netherite, plus any additional differentiating bonuses as per those listed below. All 3 sets are crafted from upgrading diamond gear, serving as unique alternatives to one another.
Forgotten Remains and Remnant Equipment
- Forgotten Remains found in the Deep Dark
- Upgrade Template found in Ancient Cities
- Armor grants Explosion Knockback Resistance
- Tools have increased durability
- all equipment is immune to blast damage when dropped and in regards to durability
Ancient Debris and Netherite Equipment
- Ancient Debris found in the Nether, slightly more common in Basalt Deltas
- Upgrade Template found in Bastions
- Armor grants Burn Time Reduction
- Tools have increased damage
- all equipment is immune to fire damage when dropped and in regards to durability
Timelost Fragments and Featherzeal Equipment
- Timelost Fragments found in the outer islands of the End dimension
- Upgrade Template found in End Cities
- Armor grants Safe Fall Distance
- Tools have increased mining speed
- all equipment is unaffected by both gravity and the void when dropped
Horse Armor
- when Progression Reborn is installed, Remnant, Netherite and Featherzeal Horse Armor may be upgraded from Diamond Horse Armor at the smithing table
End Remains
To allow full progression within the End dimension (considering that Chorus is now a woodset akin to Bamboo), a new ambient ruin structure has been added - the End Remains.
Within, you may find bookshelves, a crafting table and even a chest filled with a small amount of loot.
Mod Integration
- Forgotten Remains generate within Wilder Wild's Magmatic Caves
- Ancient Debris is slightly more common within Incendium's Volcanic Deltas
- End Remains have Cracked and Choral End Stone Bricks when Trailier Tales is installed
- Upgrade Templates and Horse Armor are craftable when Progression Reborn is installed
