Endeavor is a complete overhaul of the End's terrain generation and atmosphere, designed to make every visit feel more immersive and adventurous while staying true to vanilla Minecraft. Unlike many End overhauls, Endeavor doesn't add any new biomes, blocks, items, or mobs. Instead, it enhances what already exists, creating a dimension that feels larger, more alive, and more enjoyable to explore.

A Better End

• The main island is more dramatic.
• Outer islands are more varied and reminiscent of space
• Terrain has greater verticality, making exploration more visually appealing while preserving - Minecraft's familiar vanilla aesthetic.
• Atmosphere of every end biome has been adjusted to be more immersive.

Vertical Dimension Travel

Endeavor includes an optional gameplay feature that allows natural travel between the Overworld and the End without relying solely on End Portals.

Travel to the End

Reach approximately Y = 1000 in the Overworld...

...and you'll seamlessly enter the End at the same X and Z coordinates.

Return to the Overworld

Descend below Y = -63 in the End...

...and you'll fall back into the Overworld at roughly Y = 1000, keeping your X and Z coordinates consistent.

This creates a seamless connection between the two dimensions while opening up entirely new possibilities for exploration, survival, and world design.

Configurable Progression

You can choose whether vertical dimension travel is:

• Available immediately in a new world.
• Completely disabled.

Ender Dragon Elytra Reward

Finding your first Elytra usually requires searching thousands of blocks through the outer End islands.

For players who prefer a more streamlined progression, Endeavor includes an optional feature that rewards your victory over the Ender Dragon.

When enabled

• The Ender Dragon drops one Elytra upon defeat.

Like the dimension travel system, this feature can be enabled or disabled at any time, allowing you to customize the experience however you like.

Compatibility

Endeavor was designed to be compatible with Artemis, Hellscape and Limbo!

How to update Endeavor after its been installed in your world

To update Endeavor in the future, all you have to do is open your world's datapacks folder, then delete the folder called Endeavor and then drag the new Endeavor folder into the datapack folder, then your done!
