Description

📦 Ender Lead

Ender Lead is a lightweight utility mod for Minecraft that adds a single, powerful item: the Ender Lead — inspired by the version found in Apotheosis, but implemented as a standalone, minimal mod.

✨ Features

Adds a new item: Ender Lead, which allows players to capture and store any entity (not just animals) and release them later.

Capture Mechanics:

Left-clicking an entity with the Ender Lead will store that entity inside the item.

Works on almost all entities, including mobs, villagers, modded creatures, etc.

When an entity is captured, it is removed from the world and saved in the item's NBT data.

Release Mechanics:

Right-clicking a block with a stored entity will spawn it at the clicked position.

Each release consumes 1 durability point (max durability: 15 uses).

Additional Features:

The item's tooltip dynamically displays the name of the stored entity.

The item glows when it contains an entity (foil effect).

Plays Enderman teleport sound when capturing or releasing an entity.

🛠️ Crafting Recipe

The Ender Lead is crafted shapelessly with:

1 × Lead

1 × Ender Pearl

1 × Gold Ingot

🎮 Gameplay Impact

The Ender Lead offers a new way to interact with entities, significantly improving entity transportation and management:

Easily move villagers, pets, bosses, or rare mobs across dimensions or long distances.

Build complex farms or bases with precise entity placement.

Capture mobs on exploration trips and release them at your base.

No need for minecarts, boats, or leads for moving mobs anymore.

It’s especially useful for technical and survival modpacks where controlling entity positions is critical.

🔍 Design Philosophy

This mod is designed to be:

Clean: Only adds a single item.

Standalone: No dependencies on other mods (like Apotheosis).

Lightweight: Ideal for performance-conscious players and modpacks.
