EnderPearl Fix
⚠️ The Enderpearls won't load chunks; for the chunkload feature, install EnderPearl Chunkload
This mod is intended for individuals who desire the ender pearls to function smoothly and without any issues while also preventing the player from utilizing them as chunk loaders.
EnderPearl Fix is a lightweight, server-side utility mod for NeoForge that fixes thrown Ender Pearls getting stuck in the world after their owner logs out.
By default, Minecraft leaves thrown Ender Pearls frozen in the world when the throwing player disconnects — they sit there doing nothing until the player logs back in. With this mod, the pearl is removed cleanly on logout and restored at the exact same position, velocity and rotation once the player reconnects, just like in newer vanilla versions.
A pearl's saved state is stored persistently in the player's data and survives logout duration, dimension changes, and server restarts.
✨ Features
- 🌀 Clean pearl removal on logout — no ghost pearls left floating in the world
- 🔁 Exact restoration on login — position, velocity and rotation are preserved
- 💾 Persistent storage of pearl state (survives restarts)
- 🌍 Multi-dimension support — works correctly across Overworld, Nether, End and custom dimensions
- ⚡ Lightweight: simple event-based logic, no performance impact
- 🛠️ No configuration needed: works automatically out of the box
📋 How It Works
| Event | Action |
|---|---|
| Player logs out | Pearl position, velocity and rotation are saved, pearl is removed |
| Player logs in | Pearl is respawned at the exact saved position and continues flying |
🎯 Example Use Case
A player throws an Ender Pearl and disconnects mid-flight. Instead of the pearl freezing in the world until they return, EnderPearl Fix saves its exact trajectory and removes it instantly. When the player rejoins, the pearl reappears exactly where it left off — keeping your server's world clean and consistent for everyone else.
This also fixes a common bug in simple stasis chambers: pearls belonging to offline teammates no longer remain visible and stuck in the chamber. In addition, pearls now reliably trigger across dimensions — for example, when a teammate activates the trapdoor at the base, the stasis chamber works correctly even if the pearl's owner and the trapdoor are in different dimensions.
