Overview

EpicWands Reforged is a modern recreation and large-scale expansion of the classic wand concept for current Minecraft versions. The mod combines four distinct magical wands with survival progression, custom resources, infusion systems, themed building blocks, world generation, custom entities and an entirely new dimension.

Version 2.5.0 is the biggest world-expansion update so far. The Inverse is introduced as a completely new dimension with its own terrain identity, portal system, blocks, ores, atmosphere and hostile encounters. At the same time, the existing wand and progression systems remain at the center of the mod: mine Arcanite, obtain Void Crystals, extract magical particles in the Nether, create Infused Vials and specialize your equipment around the Empire, Hades, Zeus and Power magic families.

What is New in v2.5.0

The Inverse

The Inverse is the major new feature of v2.5.0. It is not a replacement for an existing dimension - it is a completely new EpicWands realm added to the game. The dimension is designed to feel familiar at first glance, but wrong in subtle and increasingly noticeable ways: terrain materials, ores, lighting, structures and hostile encounters all use a distorted visual language of their own.

Inverse Environment

·         Custom Inverse terrain blocks replace selected natural terrain while preserving unrelated player-built or modded blocks.

·         Custom stone, cobblestone, brick, tuff, sandstone, grass, sand and decorative variants create a consistent building palette.

·         Inverse ore variants exist for major vanilla resources including coal, iron, copper, gold, redstone, emerald, lapis and diamond.

·         Blue Inverse Lava gives caves and low areas a distinctive supernatural atmosphere.

·         The dimension has its own biome and world-generation settings rather than simply reusing the Overworld.

The Crooked

The Crooked is a rare hostile entity associated with The Inverse. Its unnaturally tall, thin silhouette and distorted posture are designed to make encounters feel uncomfortable before combat even begins. It can wander, acquire player targets and attack, making it an active threat rather than a purely decorative mob.

The Empire Wand is the versatile all-rounder. It mixes several elements with protection and movement, making it ideal for players who want a large toolbox instead of specializing in one damage type.

Hades Wand

The Hades Wand specializes in dark magic, curses and destructive crimson energy. It focuses on controlling enemies and applying dangerous magical effects rather than relying only on conventional projectiles.

Zeus Wand

The Zeus Wand revolves around electrical power, storms and mobility. Bright blue and white effects make its attacks immediately recognizable in combat.

Building, Decoration & World Identity

EpicWands Reforged has grown beyond weapons and progression into a larger building palette. v2.5.0 expands the visual identity of each magic family with themed blocks that can be used in bases, ritual rooms, castles, temples and custom structures.

·         Empire-themed blocks with warm orange, gold and arcane accents.

·         Hades-themed blocks with dark crimson, black and infernal styling.

·         Zeus-themed blocks built around bright blue, white and electrical motifs.

·         Power-themed blocks with purple arcane energy and End-inspired styling.

Nether Particle Extraction

The Nether contains naturally generated charged blocks tied to the four magic families. Each charged block replaces only a thematically appropriate vanilla block, keeping the world generation recognizable while turning specific locations into valuable magical resource sites.

Right-click a charged block while holding a normal Glass Bottle. The bottle becomes the matching Particle Bottle and the charged block returns to its normal vanilla form. Mining the charged block normally does not grant the particle bottle.

The Infusion Table

The Infusion Table converts unstable Nether particles into wand-specific Infused Vials. Its two-slot interface is intentionally simple and gives clear visual feedback while the process is running.

·         Top slot: valid Particle Bottle

·         Bottom slot: Empty Infusion Vial

·         The process starts automatically when both inputs are valid

·         Infusion takes approximately 4 seconds (80 game ticks)

·         A vertical progress animation pours the selected magic color into the vial

·         The Particle Bottle is consumed and the Empty Infusion Vial becomes the matching Infused Vial

Infused Vials

Wand-specific infused items use colored magical visual effects so the four magic families remain recognizable at a glance.

Arcanite Progression

Arcanite is the end-game material tier of EpicWands Reforged and is designed as the next major progression step after Netherite. It can be used to create powerful armor, tools and storage blocks and serves as the foundation for later magical equipment systems.

·         Arcanite Ore generates in the Overworld at deep underground levels.

·         Mining the ore provides Arcanite Fragments; Fortune can increase the amount collected.

·         Fragments are refined into Arcanite Ingots.

·         Nine Arcanite Ingots can be crafted into an Arcanite Block.

·         Arcanite armor is stronger than Netherite and is built for later infusion progression.

·         Arcanite tools sit above Netherite with increased durability, mining performance and enchantability.

Armor Infusion

Arcanite equipment can interact with the mod's offense and defense infusion systems. Magical equipment uses family-specific visual feedback, allowing an Empire, Hades, Zeus or Power setup to remain visually distinct while preserving the underlying armor progression.

Void Crystals

The End contains Void Crystal Ore, extending the end-game progression beyond Arcanite. The ore generates in End Stone and is intended to reward players who have already invested in the mod's stronger equipment tiers.

·         Generates naturally in The End.

·         Replaces End Stone.

·         Appears in small veins.

·         Requires advanced progression to harvest effectively.

·         Void Crystals are used in later magical crafting and progression systems.

Controls & Commands

Each wand can hold multiple spells. Switch between available spells and cast the currently selected ability. Spell-selection and casting messages follow the player's selected language.

The selected language affects spell names, descriptions, casting messages, help information and displayed commands. English commands remain available regardless of the selected language.

Visual Effects & Sound

A major focus of EpicWands Reforged is making magic feel visible and powerful. Spells combine particle trajectories, colored trails, electrical effects, firework-style particles, impact particles, persistent magical auras, explosions, lightning strikes and movement trails.

·         Empire - orange and gold, with elemental colors where appropriate

·         The Inverse - cold, distorted materials, blue lava and hostile ambience

Multiplayer & Loader Support

EpicWands Reforged supports both singleplayer and multiplayer. v2.5.0 is built for Minecraft 26.2 with Fabric, Forge and NeoForge releases. For multiplayer, use the correct loader build and install the required dependencies in the appropriate client/server environments.
