Description
Escoba for Minecraft
Play the classic Spanish card game Escoba de 15 right inside Minecraft. Place an Escoba Table, sit down with friends or bots, and try to make your hand card add up to 15 with whatever's on the table, or sweep the whole table at once for an escoba.
How to play
- Craft a Spanish Deck (the same deck used by the Mus and Chinchon mods in this collection).
- Craft the Escoba Table from Spanish Decks, planks and sticks (check the recipe book).
- Right-click the table to sit in the first free seat. Pick a target score (15, 21, 30 or 40 points) and start the game. Bots fill any empty seats.
- On your turn, click one of your 3 cards. If it can sum 15 with cards on the table, those cards light up green: click any of them to capture (if there's more than one possible combination, you choose which). Capturing is never mandatory: hit Play without capturing to just lay the card down.
- Capture every card on the table in one move and that's an escoba (a sweep), worth a bonus point.
- Up to 4 players, each playing for themselves (no teams). Players can take a bot's seat, and a bot steps back in if a player leaves.
- You get an action-bar reminder when it's your turn. Right-click with a Spanish Deck in hand to draw a random card.
Rules implemented
Escoba de 15, the common variant described by pagat.com:
- 3 cards dealt to each player, 4 face-up on the table, the rest as stock.
- Card values: Ace to 7 at face value, Sota = 8, Caballo = 9, Rey = 10. A capture must sum exactly 15.
- Scoring at the end of each hand: most cards, most coins (oros), the 7 of coins, best "setenta", and one point per escoba.
- The match is won once a hand ends with a player at or above the target score.
Deliberately simplified: no automatic bonus when the table or a hand happens to sum to 15 on its own ("real en mesa / en mano").

- "Renuncio" and the "real en mesa" rules are not implemented yet.
