Description
Essential Cinematic Zoom

The mod does not replace Essential’s zoom system and does not add a separate zoom key. It simply detects when the Essential zoom is being used and displays animated black bars at the top and bottom of the screen.
The result is designed to feel like a native extension of Essential.
Features
- Smooth animated cinematic bars
- Dynamic 2.39:1 CinemaScope aspect ratio
- Uses Essential’s existing zoom key
- Synchronised with Essential’s zoom animation
- Smooth zoom-in and zoom-out transitions
- Resolution-independent rendering
- Supports 1080p, 1440p, 4K and ultrawide displays
- Client-side only
- Lightweight HUD rendering
- Configurable through Mod Menu
The overlay uses Minecraft’s standard HUD rendering pipeline and does not modify shaders, world rendering or the framebuffer.
Requirements
Required:
- Fabric Loader
- Fabric API
- Essential
No additional setup or keybind is required.
