About
Description
Eternal Protocol is a lightweight Forge mod that doesn't alter vanilla gameplay, but adds a "final challenge" for players who want it.
You start in a normal world, with daily broadcasts counting the days. When you reach day 246, the world offers you a choice: will you sign a pact and step into eternal darkness?
You can refuse and keep the world bright, or enter and plunge into a permanent midnight – time freezes at night, monsters spawn like crazy, and every mob becomes hostile and supercharged. To win, you must survive 246 full nights in this unending darkness.
If you don't want to wait, you can craft the Eternal Contract (Amethyst Shard + Redstone Torch + Paper) to trigger the night immediately.
Key Features:
✅ Choice event on day 246 (clickable chat buttons + commands)
✅ Craft the Eternal Contract to start the night anytime
✅ Eternal Night: time locked, non‑stop monster spawning, mobs are faster & hit harder
✅ Survive 246 nights to claim victory and restore daylight
✅ Difficulty is locked to Hard – no cheating
✅ Players in Creative / Spectator modes are ignored by mobs
✅ Fully configurable (spawn rates, scaling, etc.)
Commands:
/enter_night – accept the eternal night on day 246
/refuse_night – refuse it
/night_status – check your current day count and status
/night_force – admin controls (enter/exit/set days/reset)
This mod is all about choice and consequence – the power is yours.
