Description
Evoker's Omen
Evoker's Omen is a Minecraft mod that adds a new way to challenge raids.
Players can brew special Evoker's Omen items through a unique five-level brewing progression. Each level creates a progressively more difficult Evoker-only raid, with higher levels requiring rarer and more valuable materials to brew.
When an Evoker's Omen is used to start a raid, all raid-spawned raiders are replaced with Evokers, creating an Evoker-only raid. Higher Omen levels increase the number of Evokers that spawn while preserving Minecraft's normal raid wave system.
Evokers from these custom raids can drop additional Emeralds, with higher Omen levels providing better Emerald drops. Evokers also have a chance to drop Evoker's Omen items, including increasingly rare higher-level Omens as the raid difficulty increases. Even normal Evokers have a small chance to drop Evoker's Omen, providing another way to begin the progression.
Five Omen Levels
| Level | General Purpose |
|---|---|
| Omen I | Entry-level Evoker raid |
| Omen II | More Evokers and increased Vex pressure |
| Omen III | Significantly larger Evoker raid |
| Omen IV | Extremely large and dangerous Evoker raid |
| Omen V | Maximum-difficulty endgame challenge |
Each level has its own brewing progression, with higher levels requiring increasingly valuable materials.
Brewing Recipes
Evoker's Omen uses a five-level brewing progression. Higher levels require increasingly valuable ingredients.
Evoker's Omen I
Awkward Potion → Ominous Bottle I → Emerald → Evoker's Omen
Evoker's Omen II
Awkward Potion → Ominous Bottle II → Ominous Banner → Evoker's Omen II
Evoker's Omen III
Awkward Potion → Ominous Bottle III → Emerald + Ominous Banner → Evoker's Omen III
The Emerald and Ominous Banner can be brewed in either order.
Evoker's Omen IV
Awkward Potion → Evoker's Omen III → Emerald Block → Evoker's Omen IV
Evoker's Omen V
Awkward Potion → Evoker's Omen IV → Totem of Undying → Evoker's Omen V
Only the matching Ominous Bottle I, II, or III can begin the corresponding first three recipes. Ominous Bottles IV and V are not used in the Evoker's Omen brewing progression.
Commands
Evoker's Omen items can also be obtained with /give:
/give @s evokers-omen:evokers_omen_1
/give @s evokers-omen:evokers_omen_2
/give @s evokers-omen:evokers_omen_3
/give @s evokers-omen:evokers_omen_4
/give @s evokers-omen:evokers_omen_5
Vanilla Raids Stay Vanilla
Vanilla Ominous Bottles and normal raids are completely unchanged. Pillagers, Vindicators, Witches, Ravagers, Evokers, and other raid mobs continue to appear normally when using vanilla raid mechanics.
The mod also preserves normal mob spawning and /summon behavior outside of custom Evoker's Omen raids.
If you want the Evoker-only challenge, use an Evoker's Omen. If you want a normal Minecraft raid, use a normal Ominous Bottle.
