Mod
Excalibur Stones
No reviews yet
This project doesn't add any swords but some stones to worldgen, which can hold a stone. They are compatablie with other sword mods and therefore great for modpacks.
Includes a large focus on traversing worlds with enhanced world generation, structures, dungeons, and more for players to find unique loot.
General improvements to world generation, such as bug fixes, aesthetic overhauls, or misc additions.
Neoforge is a fork of the Minecraft Forge available for versions 1.20.1+ of Minecraft. Many Forge mods are compatible with Neoforge and vice versa.

Description
Excalibur Stones
Overview
This mod adds stones to the worldgen. Each one holds a random sword with random enchantments. There are four types of stones: Cleanstone, Deepslate, Netherrack and Endstone. Which sword is found in which stone type is calculated by the base attack damage of the sword. If it is for example a netherite sword, it is only found in the End. Above all, it makes the exploration of End islands more fun, because you not only look out for some ships with elytras, you can search for the most OP swords in your world.
Worthy Players
You can only pull them out with enough XP and the right achievements. This is to prevent unworthy players from pulling them out. For every base attack damage, the player needs 2 XP levels and for every enchantment level, the player needs 5 levels. For example a sword with 7 Attack Damage on default and sweeping edge III, the player needs 7 * 2 + 3 * 5 = 29 XP levels to pull out.
Modpack support
At the start of a game, the mod pulls all Items and filters for those who have a "sword" in their ItemID, like "minecraft:iron_sword" all these get collected and sorted by attack damage. Then the mod divides them into the four stone groups. Then when a chunk generates with the stone structure it randomly gets a sword of the correct list and puts random enchantments on it. This way all sword mods are supported, as long as their ItemIDs have a "sword" in it. It makes it usable in vanilla-like projects but also in modpacks. Feel free to use it alongside your favourite modpack.
