Description

Requires ExoLib to be installed.
Highly recommended to install Better Combat with this mod.

ExoArmory adds a total of 6 unqiue weapons, 4 new standard weapons, 5 new tiers of shields, new status effects, attributes, and much more.

Version Trailer:

Armory Items:

Adds 6 new Armory Items into the game. 3 Longswords, 2 Greatswords, and 1 Bow. These items can be crafted with Weapon Cores or found in the world.

  • Solar Flare (Longsword) - Rarely found when looting chests in a desert biome
  • Frostbite (Longsword) - Rarely found when looting chests in a snowy biome
  • Shadow's Edge (Longsword) - Rarely found when looting chests in The Nether
  • Hero's Testament (Greatsword) - Rarely found when looting chests in The Overworld
  • Aether's Embrace (Bow) - Rarely found when looting chests in an End City
  • GIGA SWORD (Greatsword) - Unobtainable by default

You can view the recipes and information for each of these items in the creative menu, or via an item viewer like JEI or EMI.

Armory items can be ranked up, which increases their base stats as well as unlocking or upgrading abilities on the weapons. Items start at rank 1 and can go up to rank 5. You can find the rank up templates when looting chests in The Overworld (Rank 1 > 2 Template), The Nether (Rank 2 > 3 Template), and The End (Rank 3 > 4 Template). The final rank upgrade template is crafted from the others.

New Standard Weapons:

Adds Reinforced Bows, which are upgrades to vanilla bows.

  • Netherite bows are upgrades to regular bows and can be crated similarly to other Netherite Equipment.
  • Dragon bows can be found in End Cities or crafted from materials in the End. They charge 20% faster than normal bows, and have a chance fire piercing arrows, and automatically recover shot arrows.
  • Etherium bows are upgraded Dragon bows. They are more likely to fire piercing arrows and recover shot arrows. They also gain a small damage bonus. They can be crafted at a smihing table with a Weapon Core, Netherite Star, and Dragon Bow.

Shields Rework:

  • There are 5 new tiers of shields in addition to the regular wooden shields. Copper, Iron, Gold, Diamond, and Netherite shields have all been added.
  • Shields now provide armor when worn and have two new attributes, Shield Stability & Passive Block
  • Shield Stability represents how long you can block with your shield before it becomes unstable. While you shield is stable, you block 100% of damage like normal, but when your stability runs out, only 50% of damage is blocked.
  • Passive Block is a % chance to block an attack even when you are not blocking with your shield. The damage that can be blocked must be of a type a shield can normally block, so no, you can't block fire.

Status Effects:

  • Multiple new status effects have been added, and a new potion can be brewed
  • The Potion of Eagle Eye has been added, it is the strength potion equivalent of ranged weapons like bows or crossbows. It can be brewed with an Awkward potion and a Skeleton Skull in a brewing stand.

Miscellaneous:

  • Weapon Cores can be found when looting chests, they can be used to craft Armory Items or upgrade certain new Standard Weapons.
  • Adds the Soulbound enchantment. Items with the soulbound enchantment are not lost on death. If the item has durability, it takes durability damage when it follows you past death, but will not break because of it.
