Description
For the wanderers at heart.
Explorer's Suite provides a set of highly configurable quality of life tools with the intent of contributing to a more immersive exploration experience.
These currently include (but are not limited to):
- direction and coordinates displayed on the HUD when holding a compass (can be changed by modifying the tag explorerssuite:displays_coords
- in-game time displayed in the format of 12 hour real-world time when holding a clock (day/night text color can be changed in the config, clock item can be changed by modifying the tag explorerssuite:displays_time
- right clicking a ladder with a ladder in hand places it beneath the other one if applicable (can be toggled from config and changed by modifying the tag explorerssuite:ladders)
- campfires are unlit on placement (can be toggled from config)
- a fire starter item crafted with two flint which can light campfires and candles, but not in-world fires
- lit campfires give nearby players and passive mobs regeneration (both can be toggled individually from config)
- pigs drop tallow on death, which can be used as an alternative to honeycombs to craft candles (can be toggled in config)
- sweet berries and glow berries can now only be placed by crafting them into pips (blocks that cannot be placed can be changed by modifying the tag explorerssuite:cancel_placement)
- incensed candle and infernal candle, two candles which give the Calming and Insomnia effects respectively to nearby players; the more candles in a stack, the farther the range
- potions which give Calming and Insomnia that can be brewed with a ghast tear and a mundane potion (Insomnia potions are inverted Calming potions)
