Extra Utilities

Extra Utilities is a Fabric mod by VOIDED_1 built around one simple idea: adding the things I wish existed in Minecraft.

This mod is a growing collection of useful tools, strange items, powerful upgrades, fun mechanics, and random ideas that do not always fit into one specific theme or another mod. Some additions may be simple one-item features, while others may grow into bigger systems over time.

The goal is to make Minecraft feel more exciting without completely breaking survival balance. Items should feel strong, useful, and fun, but still earned through fair progression.

Current Features

Starfall Lumber Axe

The Starfall Lumber Axe is a powerful late-game axe designed to make tree chopping faster while still keeping balance in mind.

It is crafted using expensive materials and works like a real axe, but with a special tree-chopping ability.

Features

• Chops down connected trees
• Only activates when the first block broken is a log
• Works server-side to prevent client/server desync
• Does not activate while sneaking
• Can break connected leaves
• Uses durability while chopping
• Has configurable limits to prevent lag or abuse
• Designed to stay balanced for survival gameplay

Configurable Options

Extra Utilities includes a simple config system for adjusting how strong the tree-chopping behavior should be.

Config options may include:

• Maximum logs chopped per tree
• Whether leaves should be broken
• Maximum leaves broken
• Durability cost scaling

The default settings are meant to be useful without being overpowered.

Mod Goals

Extra Utilities is not limited to one specific category. Future updates may add:

• New tools
• Utility items
• Strange one-off items
• Fun mechanics
• Late-game upgrades
• Quality-of-life features
• Balanced powerful equipment

If an idea feels useful, crazy, fun, or like something that should exist in Minecraft, it may end up in this mod.
