DISCONTINUED. MOD WILL BE SPLITT UP INTO MULTIPLE MODULES (Multifarious: ...)
While this mod was made with the intention of using it for an upcoming modpack, I was thinking that maybe some of you want to use features in your own worlds and packs. So here it is - almost everything is datapacks so anyone can edit it. I will add a wiki the next week, make sure to report all bugs/issues and join the discord to be up to date. This mod can be added/removed to existing worlds without messing with anything.
Currently Implemented:
- Ring Crafting (Craft Rings that improve your stats, uses the trinket system)
- Quality (right now just for rings, any ring you craft rolls a quality up to legendary, improving its final stats)
- 30+ Weapon models (check screenshots!)
- Spell & Mana System (apply runewords to gear to get active spells while wearing it, video below)
- If used with the mod Identity some abilities will transform your character
- New ways of obtaining items
- Jundles (Jar + Bundle, alternative implementation of bundles, using clay/bricks)
- Plates (upgrade your gear from stone to netherite and keep its enchants and abilities)
- Pocket Geodes (Obtain them by mining ores, they contain gems and runes)
- Rune Crafting (Runewords, Weapons, Cosmetic Particles)
- Status Effects & Custom Particles (Leader of the Pack, Bleed)
- Gems (Obtained from pocket geodes, used for crafting and as enchanting alternative)
- Everything can be changed/adjusted/added/removed via datapacks
Planned:
- Similar to Rings -> Necklaces
- Gear Modifiers & RNG stats on gear (example: apply a zombie heart to your chestplate, get a roll on bonus health)
- A ton more spells & runewords, currently there is only one.
- Weapon specific abilities (right now weapons are not balanced but that will make sense later)
- 3D Armor models
- Mob specific drops used for crafting
- Unique Weapons that aren't craftable and have their own abilities and models
Compatibility:
Identity: if you use this mod together with identity to get the animal transformations - make sure to go through its config files and turn most things to false. I could not manage to ship custom ones but maybe in the future.
Origins: if you want to use other origins mods or the default ones, you need to make a datapack and change the layer file for coolstuff, replace:true -> replace:false
