No reviews yet
Removes curse information from tooltips
Does not follow a specific thematic focus apart from vanilla Minecraft.
Centers around fantasy elements such as spells, rituals, and magical energies, often involving personal empowerment and magical automation.
Includes quality of life improvements and small tweaks to enhance and customize gameplay.
Adds client-side tools and features to enhance the user experience.
Fabric is a mod loader for versions 1.14+ of Minecraft, particularly popular for client side and optimization mods.

Description
Curse Silence
This mod aims to fix the fact that no one is going to wear a cursed chestplate if they know it's cursed.
This fabric client side mod offers 3 modes to hide curses:
- Hint (default): Hides the curses, but will add a "Cursed" line in the tooltip, to let you know the item has at least one. Does not remove the glint.
- Level: Hides the curses, but shows you an indicator of how many curses the item has in a similar fashion to enchantment levels. Doesn't remove glint.
- Full: Hides the curses from the tooltip and removes the enchantment glint from the item (unless it has other, non-curse enchantments).

Enchanted books are excluded from the mod.
I will not port the mod to forge, the license is MIT, feel free to do it yourself. A forge version for 1.12.2 is available here.
The mod might work in other versions other than the ones a file is marked for: trying won't break your world, if it crashes you can uninstall it without consequences. Also, please, if it does work, tell me in the comments below so that I can update the file data to reflect the discovery.
