Fabulous TBM

The Fabulous TBM adds a fully functional Tunnel Boring Machine to Minecraft, designed for automated tunneling through the Nether and Overworld.

How it works

Build the required machine structure with a ring of Redstone Blocks,  then Iron Blocks, Sticky Pistons, Iron Blocks, and Dispensers. Craft a TBM Computer using 4 Redstone Blocks, 4 Copper Blocks, and 1 Block of Smooth Quartz, and place it in the middle of the Redstone Block ring facing the direction you want to tunnel — then attach a lever to the TBM Computer Block. Hint: the Dispensers are the front and face of the Machine. 

The TBM will automatically:

• Mine a 5x5 tunnel in the direction it faces
• Line the walls, floor and ceiling with Smooth Stone
• Store all mined resources in Shulker Boxes
• Move itself forward one block at a time

Setup requirements

• Load Shulker Boxes filled with Smooth Stone into the Stone slots
• Load empty Shulker Boxes into the Spoils slots for storing mined resources
• Load  any Pickaxes into the Pickaxe slots
• Set a target X or Z coordinate in the computer interface
• Attach a lever and flip it to start

The machine stops automatically when it reaches the target coordinate, runs out of supplies/breaks a pickaxe, or hits Bedrock or the world border.
