Description
Factional Boogeymen Mod
A Fabric 1.20.1 mod for the TeslaJames Origins SMP.
Factions
Players are assigned to one of four factions: Underground, Sky, Wilds, or Extremes. Each faction has its own spawn point that players will respawn at if they don't have a bed.
Boogeyman System
Every 24 real hours, one random player from each faction is chosen as the Boogeyman.
- Boogeymen can hunt players from other factions
- Each kill earns +1 point for the killer and their faction
- If you're killed by a Boogeyman, you lose 1 point (no negative points)
- If a Boogeyman kills another faction's Boogeyman, it's worth +5 points total (+4 bonus)
- Boogeyman status resets daily, but points persist
- Boogeyman kills are anonymous (e.g., "The Sky Boogeyman killed... John F Kennedy")
Spawn System
- Players spawn at their bed if they have one (normal Minecraft behavior)
- If no bed, players spawn at their faction's spawn point
