Factori-0 Rebuild
No reviews yet
Factory-0 Rebuild brings Factorio-style automation. Use Scanners to map ore density and coal-fired Burner Drills for efficient, heavy-duty resource extraction independent of the power grid. From now whit FE!
Themed around heavy machinery, factories, and automation reminiscent of the Industrial Revolution.
Features machines that process raw materials or automation processes.
Adds new ores or other raw resources.
Inspired by or including content related to the game Factorio.

About
Description
Efficiency is not a choice, it’s a requirement.
Inspired by the core mechanics of Factorio, this mod introduces a structured system for resource gathering. Move away from manual mining and establish a high-throughput industrial outpost.
1. Chunk Scanner
The chunk scanner, when you right-click, shows you what type of ore vein is in that chunk, if any, and the amount of ore you can extract with the drill.
Once you've finished extracting ore from the chunk, this amount will reach zero, rendering the chunk empty and therefore unusable. Until the next chunk!

2. Base Drill
Once you've located the ore vein you're interested in, with this drill and some coal, you'll be able to extract the minerals. But be careful: if the chunk runs out of ore, the machine won't stop! You'll have to turn it off, so always keep an eye on the Chunk Scanner!
It is fully automatable with any pipe/conduit of any mod, both in input (for coal) and in output (for extracted ore).

3. Electric Drill
Why use coal? Electricity works twice as fast, so coal could be used for something else...
The Electric Drill works with any pipe/conduit/energy cable, both for input (for energy) and output (for mined materials).
Eco-friendly!
Important: You can spam as many drills as you want in a chunk, this will speed up ore extraction, but it will only empty the chunk faster, you won't have infinite ore ;)

1. Geological Scanner (The Intelligence) In a professional production line, guessing is a waste of resources. The Scanner is your primary tool for site analysis. Function: Scans the underlying chunks to detect ore density and resource types. Operational Logic: It provides the data necessary to optimize drill placement, ensuring you never deploy heavy machinery on barren ground. Strategic Advantage: Maximizes your Return on Investment (ROI) by identifying the richest veins before consumption begins.

2. Burner Drill (The Steam Age) The entry-point for automated extraction. Reliable, heavy-duty, and completely autonomous from the power grid. Power Source: Solid combustion (Coal, Block of Coal). Performance: Ideal for early-game expansion and remote outposts where power lines haven't reached yet. Limitation: Requires manual refueling or basic hopper automation; lower cycle speed compared to electric alternatives.
