At the top of the climb are the two Calamity weapons, whose powers tear the land apart, and the Weapon of God, fused from them. The mod also adds classes, 13 new ores, legendary armor, tools and forges.

✦ 13 Legendary Weapons

Each weapon has an element, five or six charged abilities, and an ultimate that unlocks at level 100.
  • Voidfang: void longsword
  • Solaris: solar greatsword
  • Frostrend: ice longsword
  • Doomcleaver: blood battle axe
  • Stormbreaker: lightning battle axe
  • Gravebite: necromancy battle axe
  • Soulreaper: soul scythe
  • Bloomfall: nature scythe
  • Eclipse Reaper: celestial scythe that switches between light and dark
  • Starforge: cosmic warhammer
  • Aetherlance: energy lance
  • Monolith: colossal earth greatsword
  • Infernochain: fire sword that transforms into a chainblade

✦ 12 Mage Weapons

Six staffs and six spellbooks, one of each for fire, frost, water, nature, light and shadow. Their spells attack, heal, shield and empower your allies.
  • Staffs: Cinderspire, Rimeheart, Tidecaller, Thornwake, Sunwarden, Gloamreach
  • Spellbooks: Pyre Codex, Frostbound Grimoire, Codex of Tides, Verdant Almanac, Lumen Psalter, Umbral Codex

✦ The Calamity Weapons

Two weapons are forged in rites at the Worldforge. Each holds six powers that reshape the land with craters, canyons, earthquakes and frozen wastes. Cast a power where you stand, or open Dominion Sight, a targeting map, and bring it down on a place far away.
  • Great Sword of Obliteration: Great Slash, 4th Dimension Ascension, Arch Dragon of Hell, Grand Earthquake, Thornspire Cataclysm, Ice Rain
  • Spell Book of Absolute Domination: Grant Execution, Ultramassive Blackhole, Earthsplitting Eruption, Tectonic Breakage, Roots of the Great Tree, Ice Age

✦ The Weapon of God

The Last Fragment of Brilliant Light.
Lay both Calamity weapons on the Legendary Upgrading Table and they fuse into a divine scythe that every class can wield. Each of its powers takes 10 seconds to summon, then rests for 15 to 30 minutes.
  • Six fused powers: Judgement of the Final Dawn, The Abyss Beyond Dimensions, The Hellfire Apocalypse, The Breaking of the World, Wrath of the World Tree, The Eternal Winter
  • Trident from Heaven: strikes from the sky and leaves a crater walled in burning gold
  • Dimension Breakage: breaks the world into a lattice of floating cubes, ringed in rainbow
  • Combined Power of the 6 Gods: wipes a vast disc of land away and leaves a wall of shattered blocks behind

✦ World Destruction

The great powers really change the world. They carve craters, canyons and cracks, and each power lines the edge with its own kind of wall: seared rock, obsidian, gold, rainbow or shattered blocks. Seas and rivers at the edge are sealed off, so the land doesn't flood. The work is spread over time to keep the game running, and the effects are huge enough to see from far away.

✦ Progression

  • Each weapon has its own levels (1 to 100), and kills earn it EXP.
  • Mastery points unlock and upgrade abilities in each weapon's skill tree.
  • Damage grows with level, mastery, ability level and how long you charge.
  • Custom status effects: Void Mark, Frostbite, Soul Drain, Gravity Bound, Inferno Overheat and more.

✦ Classes

  • Assassin: faster, deadly from behind, and vanishes after a kill
  • Berserker: deals more damage the lower its health, and heals on every kill
  • Paladin: tough, smites the undead, and heals out of combat
  • Mage: wields staffs and spellbooks, has stronger spells, and is guarded by an Arcane Ward

✦ Ores, Armor and Tools

  • 13 legendary ores, each with raw and refined forms, refined at the Arcane Refinery: Void Crystal, Solarite, Frostheart, Bloodstone, Thundercryst, Necrostone, Soulshard, Verdant, Eclipsite, Astralite, Aetherite, Titanstone, Infernite
  • 13 legendary armor sets with bonuses for each piece and an ability for the full set, plus 6 Mage Regalia: Pyromancer, Cryomancer, Tidemancer, Archdruid, Luminarch, Umbramancer
  • 39 legendary tools: a pickaxe, shovel and axe for every ore, with area mining up to 13×13, Fortune X, Efficiency X, and the abilities Ore Sight, Timberfall and Earthshaper
  • Legendary weapons and armor never break.

✦ Crafting Stations

  • Legendary Crafting Table: a 9×9 grid with timed forging
  • Arcane Refinery: turns raw ores into refined ones
  • Legendary Upgrading Table: upgrades legendary tools and fuses the Weapon of God
  • Worldforge: an animated 21×21 altar with an 11×11 rite grid, where the Calamity weapons are forged

✦ Guidance

  • Quest Journal: quest chains with rewards that lead you through the mod
  • Wayfarer's Codex: an in-game guide book with every weapon, recipe and rite
  • Deeds: custom advancements for your greatest feats

✦ Controls

Every key can be rebound under Controls → Fantasy Weapons.
  • R (hold): charge an ability, then release to cast. With a Calamity weapon, opens Dominion Sight.
  • G: cycle abilities (sneak + G goes back)
  • F: switch form or mode
